« Passionate Ignorance | Main | Is Heart Disease Killing You? »

This reminds me of a song "Stained Glass Masquerade"
"are we happy plastic people
under shiny plastic steeples
with walls around out weakness
and smiles to hide our pain
But if the invitations open
to every heart that has been broken
maybe then we close the curtain on our stained glass masquerade"

"but would it set me free
if I dared to let you see
the truth behind the person
that you imagine me to be"

"would your arms be open
or would you walk away
would the love of Jesus
be enough to make you stay"

Fellowship to me would means arms would be open to me, no one would walk away.

Hm. Good questions.

Sometimes I feel very juvenile and young when I consider the comments that your blogs inspire in me, but I will ignore that and go ahead and make the comment that I thought of when I was reading - I am SO going to call my bedroom my "fellowship hall" when I am married.

Amen to that Tim

As said already...way to stick with the context! Unfortunately not everyone looks up the original meanings of words! Great work and great thoughts here!

Tim's comment should get a comment of the week award or something. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Todd and I officially have a new "code word" thanks to Tim's witty idea. Great post T - I forwarded this one on to some friends to chew on. I love how your thoughts encourage all of us to ask ourselves the same questions. One thing is for sure, you've made it very clear that you are someone that I am always welcome to come and fellowship with in whatever state I am in. Loved loved loved your thoughts here!
